TRS70R - 70 Amp Fuse

The TRS70R is a 70 amp Class R fuse that’s mainly used in setups where you don’t want constant nuisance trips but still need solid protection if something goes wrong. It’s a time-delay type, so it can handle normal startup current—like when a motor kicks on—without blowing right away. That’s usually the main reason people go with this style instead of a fast-acting fuse. At the same time, it’s got a 200 kA interrupting rating at 600VAC, so if there is a fault, it’s built to deal with it. That matters more in industrial or heavier commercial systems where available fault current is higher. It uses a knife-blade connection, nothing unusual there, just a secure fit in the right holder. And since it’s Class R, it’s designed so you can’t easily swap it with the wrong fuse type by accident. This one doesn’t have an indicator. Pretty common. If you need visual indication, you’d usually be looking at a different version.
