FLSR060-ID - 60Amp Fuse
The FLSR060-ID is a 60A Class RK5 time-delay fuse for your applications where a brief current surge is normal and shouldn't immediately take the circuit offline. Motors, transformers, and similar loads can draw considerably more current at startup than they do once they're running. That's where the dual-element, time-delay design becomes useful. It allows the fuse to handle appropriate short-duration inrush while still providing protection when an overload persists, or a short circuit occurs.
Key Features and Benefits
- 60A continuous current rating for equipment requiring 60-amp overcurrent protection.
- Class RK5 dual-element construction provides time-delay operation for compatible industrial circuits.
- Handles applications rated up to 600 VAC and 300 VDC.
- Time-delay / Slo-Blo operation helps prevent nuisance openings caused by normal, short-lived startup current.
- The built-in indication gives maintenance personnel a convenient way to identify an open fuse.
- Industrial cartridge construction works with the appropriate fuse block, clip, or holder.
- Designed for use with the LFR60060 Series PG holder where applicable.

Material Compliance and Certifications
The FLSR060-ID is a Class RK5 fuse, so fuse class should be one of the specifications checked when matching it to existing equipment or a new electrical design. Current rating and voltage alone aren't enough to determine whether one fuse is an appropriate replacement for another.
If an installation has specific UL, CSA, RoHS, REACH, environmental, or material-compliance requirements, verify the current documentation for the exact FLSR060ID catalog number. That avoids making assumptions based on specifications or certifications that may apply to a broader product family rather than the individual part.
Where It Works Best
This fuse starts to make sense when the load doesn't behave the same way at startup as it does during normal operation. Motors and transformers are obvious examples. Both can experience an initial current surge, and a fuse that reacts too quickly to an otherwise acceptable startup condition can cause unnecessary downtime. The FLSR060-ID's time-delay characteristic is intended to accommodate appropriate temporary inrush while still responding to genuine overcurrent conditions.
